The earliest recorded meeting was held at Harraby Park Stadium at Holme near Carlisle on 21st July 1928 on the grass circuit.
The track continued to act as a Training track throughout the 1928 season.
|
|||
As was customary with speedway tracks, it also hosted greyhound racing, with the first meeting taking place on 9th June 1928.
This section gives a comprehensive picture of
the badges produced for the team throughout the ages, but only provides the briefest of
glimpses of its history. For those wishing to read more widely we recommend a visit to http://astore.amazon.co.uk/wwwgreyhoundd-21 especially Complete History of the British
